Josh Bland

Started working Coach Calhoun's, and other camps through out the country, in 1994. He has played a major role in setting up the camp since 1997. His responsibilities included but were not limited to; scheduling the entire camp of up to 600 campers, coordinating coaching responsibilities for all camp employees, designing rain schedules, coaching. In addition to working camp Josh has been an assistant coach at three colleges in Connecticut , winning more than 20 games in each of the last five seasons. He is currently the Associate Head Coach at the University of Bridgeport . Josh brings to the group experience teaching the game to all levels of athletes and the knowledge to run a successful camp.

 

Mike Woodard

UCONN Basketball Alumni. Class of 2004. Has run successful camps in New England with formerUCONN women's players. Works for Phizer as a pharmaceuticals representative responsible for most of southern Connecticut . Has also engaged in profitable side ventures in real estate. He brings great business sense as well as basketball and local connections to the group.

Paul Chase

A twenty year veteran of coaching at basketball camps throughout New England . His experience is vital to organizing the camp. Paul also has deep basketball connections that run back to his days at Cambridge High school with Rumeal Robinson under Coach Mike Jarvis. He has worked at Coach Calhoun's Camp for over 15 years. Paul works for Major League Baseball in the greater Boston area and is responsible for increasing minority attendance. His experience in connecting with communities and increasing attendance will help the group get the word out about our camps and clinics.
